Dennis Mombauer lives in Colombo, Sri Lanka, where he works as a consultant on climate change and as a writer of weird fiction and textual experiments. He is co-publisher of a German magazine for experimental fiction, “Die Novelle – Magazine for Experimentalism.” His first English novel, The Fertile Clay, was published in 2022 by Nightscape Press. Douglas Ford lives and works on the west coast of Florida, just off an exit made famous by a Jack Ketchum short story. He is the author of a recent collection of weird fiction, Ape in the Ring and Other Tales of the Macabre and Uncanny. His short stories have appeared in such venues as Dark Moon Digest, Tales to Terrify, Weird City, along with The Best Hardcore Horror, Volumes Three and Four. In their other life, they are a domestic and sexual violence attorney working with Latinx immigrant survivors to provide holistic civil legal services. They are a previous winner of the Naked Girls Reading Literary Honors Award, and a multiple time and current Rhysling Award nominee.
