The Dread Machine is a volunteer-run organization. We know how valuable your time and efforts are, and we don’t take them for granted, so here’s what we do to show our gratitude:
All contributors are credited clearly and explicitly for their role in each project’s production. Volunteers are featured on our About page, also.
We provide written recommendations, testimonials, and reviews, and are willing to serve as references, should you ever need us to. As a group, we work to ensure your time investment pays off in quality industry experience that you’ll be proud to put on your resume. We will happily vouch for you.
We know exposure doesn’t pay the bills. If you do not have the time to give, please don’t feel compelled to apply. This is our passion, and we would never expect anyone to make personal sacrifices for it unless they truly felt it was a worthwhile endeavor.
Use the buttons below to send us an email. Tell us what skills you’re willing to share, show us some samples of your work, and let us know what your availability is. We can’t wait to work with you!
Gatekeepers read ten incoming submissions each week, appending a rating to each and providing commentary explaining their reasoning.
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
Our social media needs are modest—post twice a day on our Twitter and find positive, lighthearted ways to engage with our friends and supporters.
If you have a quality recording setup and some narration experience, we’d love your help with our Youtube channel and podcast!
Are you a creative video editor who likes to get weird with it? Please reach out! We’d love to create book trailers for each of our issues.
