An Anthology

The stories published in our anthologies are original and exclusive, which means they’re also pretty expensive. On average, each story costs $450 and requires 20 hours of editorial work. With each anthology containing at least twelve stories—well, we’ll let you do the math on that. Throw in the labor required to format the covers and interiors, plus the cost of the art and the advertising, and you’re looking at a massive chunk of change. Those who pitch in to help us with those costs will receive a copy of the anthology (signed by the editor) plus a premium bookmark. Their names will also appear on the Acknowledgements page.

Become a legend. If you contribute to the production of The Dread Machine: 1986, you'll receive one of the first copies and have your name printed in the Acknowledgments.
