Chelsea Sutton is an LA-based writer and director of speculative stories. She was a 2016 PEN America Emerging Voices Fellow and an alum of the 2022 Clarion UCSD Science Fiction and Fantasy Workshop, and her fiction has appeared in Bourbon Penn, F(riction), Speculative City, CRAFT Literary, Luna Station Quarterly, Orca Literary, and the new anthology Mooncalves, among others. Also a playwright, she wa a Humanitas PlayLA award winner and her macabre steampunk adaptation of Pinocchio, Wood Boy Dog Fish, appeared in the inaugural season at the Garry Marshall Theatre. She co-wrote Welcome to the Blumhouse Live, an interactive film event for Blumhouse/Amazon Prime by Little Cinema, which was nominated for a 2021 Emmy for Outstanding Interactive Program.
