Peter first fell into fiction penning stories to amuse his grammar-school classmates, which helped him overcome his shyness, but resulted in very few completed homework assignments.

He is an avid fan of horror movies, especially those with a sense of humor, food served from carts and roadside shacks, and the music of The Ramones, The Replacements, and other bands of like-minded misfits who found a way to connect with the world through their music and their words.

R. L. Meza is an author of horror and dark science fiction. Her debut novel Our Love Will Devour Us will be published May 23, 2023 by Dark Matter INK. Meza's short stories have appeared in Nightmare, Dark Matter Magazine, and The Dread Machine. She lives in a century-old Victorian house on the coast of northern California, with her husband and the collection of strange animals they call family.

Renan Bernardo is a science fiction and fantasy writer from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. His fiction appeared or is forthcoming in Apex Magazine, Podcastle, Escape Pod, Daily Science Fiction, Translunar Travelers Lounge, Solarpunk Magazine, Dark Matter Magazine, and others. He was one of the selected for the 2021 Imagine 2200 climate fiction contest with his story When It’s Time to Harvest. In Brazil, he was a finalist for two important SFF awards and published multiple stories. His fiction has also appeared in other languages.

Like a magpie, Rhonda Parrish is constantly distracted by shiny things. She’s the editor of many anthologies and author of plenty of books, stories and poems. She lives with her husband and two cats in Edmonton, Alberta, and she can often be found there playing Dungeons and Dragons, bingeing crime dramas, making blankets or cheering on the Oilers.

Sam Rebelein holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Goddard College, with a focus on Horror and Memoir. He is currently a PhD candidate in English Literature & Film at Texas Tech University. He has work in a number of speculative fiction magazines, including Bourbon Penn, Planet Scumm, Dark Moon Digest, Shimmer, and elsewhere. His fiction has been featured in Ellen Datlow’s prestigious Best Horror of the Year, and his award-nominated "Black Fanged Thing" was listed as a stand-out story of 2018 on Barnes & Noble's "Sci-fi & Fantasy Blog."

Samuel Marzioli is a Filipino-Italian writer of mostly dark fiction. Sean Mabry is a long-haired cryptid wandering the eastern edge of Los Angeles County. He is equally passionate about fiction and marketing, since both are important tools in his quest to unravel civilization. In its place, he anticipates something weirder, wilder, and kinder.

His short stories have appeared in Lamplight, the Weird and Whatnot and elsewhere. His work has also won two Honorable Mentions and a Semi-Finalist award in the Writers of the Future Contest.

Though he is generally considered docile, experts advise keeping avocado toast on hand in case Sean Mabry needs to be pacified. He is, after all, a millennial.
